I want

-
Yeah, one thing I really want is some such accomplishment that I never have to write a CV.

The final placement season is about to start here and now is the time for CV making ... torture period for me.
Hate trying to sell myself. I am the best judge of how good I am and that's it.
To hell with the people and companies who can't see my worth.
I'm not "selling" myself to them.

Do I sound like a narcissist? :-)

Yo dude! This has been one of the conflicts constantly gnawing at my brain for quite some time now and I had blogged about it too.Excelling by one's own standards in one's own preferred fields is what ultimately matters. A sufficiently discerning person will ultimately grow sick of living by society's standards all the time.

Well..it's good to be confident with yourself and all but there's one imp difference between industry and academia. It's not what you know and how much you know that counts but what you do with what you know is what counts out here. So use all your entrepreneurial skills whichever company you get thru and change the very nature of your job. I am sure you're perfectly capable of that...
